Bot Terms of Service

1. Acceptable use

Using the Frequency Studio Bot, you agree:

• ✅ Music mixing — only request mixes of media you own, have permission for, or that falls under fair-use.
• ✅ Moderation — server admins are responsible for configured automod rules and the actions the bot takes on their behalf.
• ✅ Custom commands & content — server admins are responsible for content created via reaction roles, welcome messages, and custom commands.
• ❌ No CSAM, no terrorism content, no doxxing. Bot logs and revokes access on detection.
• ❌ No bulk-scraping another creator's catalog via /mix.
• ❌ No attempting to evade rate limits, spoof requests, or otherwise abuse the API.
• ❌ No using the bot to facilitate harassment, mass-DM spam, or coordinated abuse of other Discord servers.

2. No warranty

The bot is provided as-is. Discord can deprecate APIs, source platforms can change their formats, third-party services can go down. We don't guarantee uptime or that any specific URL will always work.

3. Rate limits

Per-user and per-server limits apply. Excessive usage may result in temporary or permanent bot access removal at our discretion.

4. Copyright takedowns

If you're a rights holder and want a specific output removed or a user blocked from generating mixes of your work, file a DMCA notice on the main site or open a ticket in the Discord server. The bot will honor valid notices.

5. Changes

These terms can update. The latest version is always at this URL. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.

6. Termination

We can remove the bot from your server or block your user ID at any time without notice for violations of these terms or applicable law.

Bot Privacy Policy

What the bot collects

• Discord user IDs — to attribute commands, run leveling/XP, apply rate limits, and track moderation history. Auto-purged after 90 days of inactivity per server.
• Server (guild) IDs — to scope settings, presets, level data, and custom commands per server.
• URLs you submit to /mix — fetched for the media, then deleted immediately after the job finishes.
• Mix settings & saved presets — stored per-server until manually deleted with /save delete.
• Moderation events — kicks, bans, warns, mutes — kept for the audit log; auto-purged after 1 year or when the action expires.
• XP / leveling progress — per-user per-server. Cleared via /level reset by server admins.
• Custom commands you create — text content + trigger keys; stored until the admin deletes them.

What the bot DOES NOT collect

• Your message content outside of slash-command parameters and explicit triggers.
• Your email, phone number, real name, billing info, or any PII.
• Cross-server tracking — your XP in one server is not linked to another.
• DMs between users — the bot does not read or log private messages.
• Voice channel content — no transcription, no recording.

Where data lives

The bot runs on the same infrastructure as the website (Railway). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), stored in the EU/US region of the Railway project. We don't share data with third parties.

How long media files live

Output files are auto-deleted from the server within 2 hours of generation (or sooner if the user has already downloaded the file). Preview clips are deleted within 15 minutes.

Your rights

You can wipe all data we have on you by DM'ing the bot /wipe me. We'll confirm within 7 days. To delete saved presets immediately use /save delete <name>.
